These work perfectly. I’ve been using them to flash ESP8525 based IR transmitters, without issue.

I purchased this mainly to test the Linux CH340 drivers in development of ESP32 projects. It performed flawlessly, both in Linux and in Windows Arduino IDE.

Worked as expected. It’s a good built quality as well. You can get cheaper from Ali but Amazon was the fastest option.

I've used these type of things many times, but having them in an enclosed housing is a great idea. It's too easy to short something out with just a bare PCB board. These are well made and very handy.

I am a retired engineer. I have used and tested many different USB to TTL adapters out there. The FTDI RS232, the Silicon Labs cp210x series and the Prolific PL230x series. They all work and they all have there pro's and con's but the CH340 series are great and this particular unit breaks out the RTS. DTR, CTS and DSR signals. It does the 3V and 5V and I really like the nice clear plastic housing it's mounted in. These are now my go to USB to TTL adapters... Just to point out the CH340G chip uses an external 12 Mhz. crystal this unit has the CH340C, the oscillator is internal to the IC. Both work exactly the same :)

If you are looking for a reliable and good quality TTL Adapter, you should consider this one. Some cheap adapters do not work with Windows 10. This one was automatically recognized by the system, and I didn't have to install any drivers (I use it with Windows 10).I flashed a few ESP8266 modules, and it worked very fast without any problems.I like that it supports both 3.3V and 5V power output. It is very useful when you work with IoT sensors and modules. You get two devices, a cable, a manual, and everything is very well packed.Very good quality.
