I wish I could say this a good way to get a battery grip for your camera but I M afraid I can't.I put it on my camera, but when I needed to take it off to replace the internal battery (it was low) the grip would not come off.So now I can't get it off and will never be able to switch the internal battery.The only way I can see to get it off will be to break it off and hope it won't break my camera as well.So follow my advise and stay away from this item. It's not worth the low price.

Buttons and command dials didn't work, the camera did however recognize the battery I put inside but the idea of a vertical grip is the functionality which this does not have.

Bought this for my D300s so I could use all of the batteries in my arsenal and alkaline or lithium AA batteries in a pinch. Shot an entire wedding (>1000 exposures) with this grip and an EN-EL4a battery from my D2x inside, and never went below 75%. Makes the camera feel more like the D2x in my hands too. I recommend this highly.

So far so good! It works well and isn’t as expensive as the OE battery grip. Although the remote that was included does not fire my camera but that’s ok

Worked great for about 50 shots on my d700 then began locking the shutter. Changed the batteries and no change. This body only has 25k actuations. I was very up set because I was using a new 85mm 1.4 lens so I thought it was the lens. I changed to another lens and had the same problem. Once I removed the grip my camera functioned perfectly. I was very excited to get a grip for my d700 that did not cost $100 but just goes to show you get what you pay for.

Works like a champ on my D7100. Seems just as well built as the Nikon grip on my other camera. Great buy for the money!

Excellent Fit and Finish.This package deal gave me th best of all options. I was able to use the 11.4v Battery to supercharge my D700 to take 8 frames a second.Not to mention that the huge battery gives you a weeks worth of power for normal conditions. I highly recommend this model and package to give you the most options available.

Excellent Vertical Battery Grip for the price! Quality not as good as the original Nikon of course, but very close! Comes with 3 battery chambers and a remote (unfortunately the remote I got does not trigger the autofocusing on the camera, so it want focus, but it does trigger the shutter! Also the remote does not shoot continuous, single shot only, not sure why!!) Other then the remote, everything is good and works great.Great Buy for the money!!
