So far, my wife and I have been pleased with this product. I am especially a fan of its versatility with its included grating plate, as we do have other peelers at home that can be used, but nothing that substitutes for that level of versatility. For instance, with something like carrots, I can use this to peel it, then set up the grating plate to get it to the thin slices that I would like, without needing to take out a totally different kitchen gadget (and thereby also increasing the amount of dishes that I have to do). It definitely simplifies the overall cooking and cleaning process for me.From a functionality perspective, the blades on this product is extremely sharp (I am actually more concerned about cutting myself rather than whether this can cut through the vegetables) and cuts well. We have also been pushing this through the dishwasher (top rack for the plate) just fine, which makes the clean up process simple and fast. A brush is included if you want to hand wash, which you will need given the sharpness of the blades.Overall, we would recommend this product.

I really wanted to like this but I don't think I'm going to be able to use it first of all it comes with the zero instructions and trying to figure out how the peeler snaps into the ramp was a lesson in the patience. Although the actual scraper itself appeared to be made out of stainless steel and seems solid enough just the whole configuration of how the blade snaps into the ramp and how you have to hold it it just didn't feel comfortable or safe in my hand although I did try to do some onion slicing and peeling some root vegetables I just didn't feel safe the handle that when it snaps into the ramp does not seat firmly and it's really a shame because I really needed a good kitchen slicer peel I'm giving them free Stars because in theory it should work it's just could have been thought out so much better things just don't seem to fit properly and rather than cut myself or let anybody else get caught I just assumed put it in the box and put it in the closet although there was some of you that might be able to make it work for me it was no good although I'm sorry to say I would have liked to have said it worked great and it was beautiful but I would have to say I wouldn't recommend this.

This Dual Blades Vegetable Peeler is great, however, it does come with a minor drawback. The peeler arrives with a plastic base in a box, but unfortunately, there are no clear instructions included. Although there is a diagram molded into the plastic holder, it took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to attach the peeler to the plastic base for both storage and peeling/grating. The manufacturer should consider including some documentation with pictures to make it easier for everyone to get started.Despite this initial hiccup, the peeler itself is very well made. Constructed from high-quality steel, it has a good weight to it, which makes it feel sturdy and durable. The blades are strong and sharp, making the peeling process smooth and efficient. I used this peeler to create matchstick-sized pieces of carrots, beans, and cabbage for a stir-fry, and it performed exceptionally well. Carrots were particularly easy to handle, and even though I had to manually run the peeler over the beans on my chopping board, it worked surprisingly well.One thing to note is that the blades are very sharp, so you need to be cautious when peeling or slicing slippery or small items. I did bruise my thumb a couple of times while matchsticking carrots, so it’s important to handle the peeler with care.Overall, the sharp blades make peeling and slicing not just easy but also enjoyable. I also used it to peel cucumbers, and it was effortless. This is a great product, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to make their kitchen prep work more efficient and enjoyable.

I wanted a new shredder for my cucumbers and all my vegetables. I have never owned one before and always sliced them by hand. I wanted one so I can do all the viral recipes on social media with the cucumbers. At first I couldn't figure out how to put the shredder in the plastic piece but then after some trial and error I figured it out.I was so excited that I figured out how to use it that I was going super fast with the slicer part for the cucumbers. I was showing my son how to use it and how it works and was going back and forth relativity fast, when some of the cucumbers got jammed at the bottom of the slicer. Instead of me stopping and taking my time to unclog them I kept holding the cucumber and trying to keep slicing the cucumber and unclog the ones at the bottom at the same time. I didn't realize that I had gotten that close to the end of the cucumber and was going that fast and before I knew it I sliced the tip/corner of my pinky finger off. The blade is extremely sharp so you have to take EXTREME CAUTION WHEN USING IT. That was completely my fault since I was not paying attention to what I was doing.It does a great job with slicing the cucumbers thinly.I haven't tried any of the other attachments on the slicer since because I am a little scared of it now. I am trying to let my finger heal and then I will pull it out again and give it a try to see the other tools and how they work. I know it had alot in the one little tool that I want to give it a try and see how it works since I love vegetables.

I got this as a sort of portable mandolin. It works well enough and the green attachable guard is nice but I'm not sure if it fits perfectly. The handle won't fully engage with the guard when the blade is in position. It works well though and it's double sided for matchsticks or slices. It also went through my dishwasher like a champ. I love when kitchen gadgets are dishwasher friendly. This makes shredded cabbage a breeze. It'll get plenty of use next time I make coleslaw.
