I only buy Duck brand window film. It adheres very well and stays put all winter. Make sure where you are putting the tape is clean and dry before you install this. I like the extra thickness of the Duck max to help keep the cold out. I measure the window and cut my film 4 inches larger than needed to make it easier to apply for me. Then I trim the excess off when I'm done.

The instructions are pretty straightforward and it holds up pretty well. I did notice that the tape, when trying to remove and reposition, does make paint on the window sill peel.

Thos Duck brand product is thick heavy mil window insulation. It is very durable and will not rip. The trade off is that because it is more heavy duty, it is not invisible to the eye like the super thin plastic. But ypu can still see put fine without distortion. It is woth using the heavy dury Duck brand to get the durability plus much better at keeping the cold air or heat out.

This was the first time I've used window film and it may have been a great decision to go with the heavy duty version. I had no issues with it tearing and the double-sided tape worked well. One thing to be mindful of is that when you remove the double stick tape, it may take some paint with it.

I found the thinner version works just as well as this at minimizing a draft but this version takes forever to shrink with a blow dryer. When installing I had a pretty tight fit not a ton of excess to shrink and even still it took 15 mins to blow dry one window and I have a nice blow dryer. Next time just sticking to the standard thickness ones of this brand

Works well. Easy to install, a bit time consuming to blow with hair dryer. But definitely worth the shot. Cold draft stopped and i could see improvement in temperature immediately
