Plastic thickness is good and the product comes with everything described but it’s not an adjustable size and is of exact size. It’s easy to install with Velcro your able to open and close.

I purchased this clear window insulator kit to cover one of our windows to prevent heat leaks during the cold winter months. It includes double backed tape and a thick clear 46” x 62” plastic to cover a 3 ft plus x 5 ft window. I have used similar window insulator kits that include thin clear plastic sheets to cover the windows and you use a hair dryer to shrink the plastic. I see a problem with this kit because the plastic seems too thick. I am not sure the plastic can shrink using a hair dryer because no instructions were included. But installation is fairly obvious using the double backed tape.

Advertised as 46x63 but not true size, much smaller. Does not fit standard sliding window in homes

it attaches to window with velcro not window tape sealant. i honestly do not know how velcro will stop or prevent air from coming through the window frame.i ended up using it to slow down the ice cold wind blowing off the lake through the porch screens

Maybe it will work?I felt it was too bulky and big to get a really good, straight adhesion - and the sort of tension I feel like it needs to not let in air. I think it's better than nothing, I felt a little difference.Size also didn't seem correct, as it was a bit bigger in one direction that I thought it would be.Definitely a pass for future window sealing.

easy to use and did what it was supposed to do, felt noticeable difference before and after installation. came with step and velcro mate it so much easy to set it up and stow away for warmer weather.
