The 2 1/2 dust collection hose is also a popular size for smaller tools. Heavy-duty hoses are designed to withstand the rigors of woodworking and industrial applications. These hoses are reinforced with wire or fabric to make them more durable and resistant to punctures and tears. Dryer vent hoses are also commonly used in dust collection systems. I needed a 11 inch, so I ordered a 12inch to give myself wiggle room,Had a lot of extra.

Most 12" duct clamps do not fit over 12" flexible ducting. This one does and clamps up tightly, and is easy to use. Also, it opens and closes easily to put it over flexible ducting.

I bought 12inch duct clamps before from other vendors, only to use them for 10inch as they were too short to actually use on 12 inch. This one really does live up to the promise. Another pre is that the screw heads are a bit bigger than the other clamps, which made it a little easier to wind down to size.

One of the descriptions for this product says down to 5 to 8 inches, but at the smallest setting they get down to (10 inches), a basketball can fit through it, on the other end, a small beachball will nearly fit through it at 14 inches. These are very, very high quality clamps and would probably work really good on flexible Air conditioning insulated ductwork, but they were way to big for what I needed, so I was unable to use them. Great price for what you get. I highly recommend them, just be sure you measure before ordering.
