My exact first words while riding with this tire on my usual off-road trails were, "HOLY JIBBERS CRABST THIS THING HAS GRIP!"I can't even describe how big of a difference these new tires make in off-road performance over the Kenda K270's I had on before. Possibly one of my favorite upgrades so far (and I'm running on a 72v Sur Ron with Fox 40's and x2 float). Now it really feels like a (super light) dirt bike... but better for my type of riding. Absolutely rips off-road and now I don't slide 15 feet when I brake hard. Stops on a dime. It feels like I got brand new brakes!I mean it makes sense, the K270 is a dual-sport and this is purely an off-road tire but still.. the difference is just so incredible that it shocked me.The only time it ever slides is on loose rocks/gravel it seems. Everything else it handles like an absolute boss - even in cornering! Which I didn't really expect given the angle of the knobs but it absolutely digs in and grips on corners. It's awesome. The only thing to note here is that... this tire DEFINITELY tears up trails fast - unlike trials tires or hybrid/dual sport that keep trails intact for the most part. So for now, I'm only putting these on when I go to the actual OHV trails that are already torn up.Here are the full details of all parts on both wheels (in case it's helpful to anyone else out there):-----------------------------------------------------------Rear wheel and tire info:------------------------------------------------------------ Rim: D.I.D. 2.15x18 (purchased on Amazon).- Spokes: 12 gauge 201mm (both sides) x36 - dished 10mm to left so the tire wouldn't hit the chain.- Spoke nipples: 10mm moped nipples.- Hub: Stock Sur Ron hub.- Sprocket: 64T (By far the best for this setup) with a 116 link 420 ProTaper MX (non O-ring or X-ring) chain - also purchased here on Amazon.Tire: Dunlop K990 90/100-18 (this one I'm reviewing) - still has plenty of space too.- Installed rimlock (an absolute must if you want better traction via lower PSI).- Standard dirt bike tube.-----------------------------------------------------------Front wheel and tire info:------------------------------------------------------------ Rim: Pro Wheels 1.6x21 (purchased on Amazon).- Spokes: 12 gauge 246mm x18 and 247mm x18 (dished about 1mm towards the brake to center it on fork).- Spoke nipples: 10mm 12 gauge moped nipples just like on the rear.- Hub: Hope Pro 4 110x20mm 36 hole (with holes drilled larger for 12 gauge spokes) - purchased on Amazon.- Tire: Dunlop MX33 80/100-21 (purchased on Amazon).- Standard tube.- Had to remove the Fox 40 fender for the tire to fit.Hope this is helpful for some other Sur Ron riders (or anyone else) out there!PS. Photos show this tire on the bike and then the k270 next to the bike for comparison - just so you can see how big the knobs are compared to the k270. K270 is obviously better if you ride some street though - just not NEARLY as much grip off-road.

I needed a tire that worked with my electric moto bike's narrow swingarm of 4.1 inches at the very narrowest at the front. Since it's back a little bit this tire JUST fits with about an eighth inch of clearance on both sides. The measurement per the Dunlop website is true, about 4.1 inches wide at the knobs. It weighs 8.4 pounds. It looks way gnarlier in person than it does in the pictures. Knobs are almost a fill inch deep. I haven't finished the install yet but I am super psyched to get out in the good and rip this thing. I needed something with better traction than what I had as I am in sand and loose soil a lot, and this shoudl fit the bill. We'll see when I ride it how it feels.UPDATE*** 6 months later and this tire is AWESOME!!!! I've ridden on a lot of dirt bike tires in my time, and this has some of the most predictable grip I've ever experienced. Perfect.
