Bought these for my husband. He uses the 9s and they are flexible, have a good ring to them. They give him the sound and the feel he is looking for, which is a little harder to find because he's putting electric strings on an acoustic guitar. They are easy to install and play great. They are "bendy without being so fragile that they break." He's gone through several sets and we'll continue to purchase. He said he feels as though he could keep playing them on and on, but after a good bit of regular use they start to lose the ring so he changes them out. But even after a long period of time they still sound better than others that become dull and dead. They are a competitive price.

These are some quality strings at a reasonable price. Was using Ernie Ball slinky but I like these better. This is my second order as I am putting new strings on 4 or my guitars. Strings definitely have a nice feel and sound great!

The .007 strings are are 20% - 30% lighter gauge than 9s and this equates to proportionally less effort to achieve string bends and vibrato. I can easily bend 4 half-steps with these strings on a Floyd Rose. They take a little getting used to - even if you already play light strings. In the beginning, the tendency will be that you'll apply too much effort causing notes to go sharp. You will be amazed at how little effort is required. Your vibrato will instantly improve as the high strings are so easy to wiggle. Ideal for shredders, as less effort and resistance creates the potential to play faster. Pinched harmonics on the thicker strings like D &Y G are easier to articulate. I restrung my Schecter Hellraiser (original 10s) and I honestly feel like someone has given me a "cheat sheet" for playing lead. Feels like a totally different guitar. These strings aren't for everyone, but for those seeking light strings - you will be stunned by their responsiveness. Now come bagged with silica packet to prevent corrosion.
