As soon as I opened the box , I smelled mold. My initial thought was it's the cardboard box. After running the unit, it has filled my whole work space with a mold smell. I will be contacting the seller to replace the filters. I'll let you know how that turns out. Oh by the way the unit seems to work great.

If you use a Foredom, Dremel or other grinder (e.g. Ray Foster Grinder) to grind, polish and carve metals and rocks, it is imperative that you have the proper PPE (eye protection, mask etc.) and a powerful dust collector to avoid respiratory hazards. This Foredom Cyclonic Dust Collector is powerful, quiet and I love the HEPA filter bags that can be replaced if needed. A must have tool for bench jewelers, rock carvers.

I like the system and the vac - the picture is the vac the motor is in the 'box' and cyclone spinner is in the cone. The collection is at the bottom. The carving station is another item.
