Sturdy and solid clamp! I use it for my 10”,12” DW Design Series Toms and they don’t budge!Won’t work with 10.5mm L Rods though so make sure you know your sizes those are too small.

This thing is sturdy af and very well crafted. The ball clamps are super strong, and there's no plastic-all metal. The posts are thicker than average too, at 14mm. It fits my isolation mounts perfectly and clamps securely. Prob doesn't need the memory lock but it just makes it that much sweeter. I am now a fan of DW hardware.

With this clamp and an old mic stand, I was able to breathe new life into some remnants of a long-ago split apart electronic drum set, and I am very happy about that.The tom mounting bars are rather thick; they barely made it through my Roland PD-7 and PD-9 pads, but in the end it worked just fine (with a tiny little muscle). They are however too large for the old Roland PD-5s. In case anyone is wondering.Excellent hardware. Built like a tank. And it's real shiny, too. Love it!

The quality of the DW stuff is simply unparalled. The arms stay locked in place very solidly and the chrome is really high in quality.

The Ball Joint mounts lock perfectlyI have attached this to a DW DWCP3900 Light Weight Double Tom Stand so I can connect 3 DW Steel Piccolo Toms 8", 10", & 12"and one 6" Toca Timbale-Snare drum.This product is one reason why DW is a top drum and drum hardware manufacture.5 Stars all the way.
