I found this item when looking for a solution to a rotted fuel line at the filter.I was able to replace the filter fitting and additional line with this kit. Saved the car and worked with no problems. I definitely recommend it.

Beaware that everything in this kit is for the supplied nylon 3/8", .375" OD tubing. There is no fittings included for 10 mm , .394" OD tubing.I needed to adapt the kit's 3/8" OD nylon tubing to my car's existing 10 mm OD evap. purge line.

Working on a 2004 Buick Regal, total fix. Had a leak after my fuel filter, about 2 inches past it (Going from the back of the car towards the front). I took off my fuel filter (pain in the @ actually had to break the line off from the threaded side...line is going towards the front) I then took off the old line that was threaded into the fuel filter and I attached a new stem onto it (included in this kit). I cut about 6 inches of line off that massive nylon spool (came with this kit) and used a heat gun..!!!!(This was a key point. Man power does not work, boiling a pot of water to soften the line did not work, use a heat gun or expect frustration)!!!!.....to soften the line to push it onto that stem attached to the fuel filter. Then I used the brass compression fitting (included) to attach that 6 inch nylon line onto the pre-existing gas line (I recommend using sand paper to clean up the old metal line you cut, and where it's going to connect up with the nylon line) Keep in mind which end is which, the fitting that I used was as follows. Brass "ring" goes over the metal line, the plastic "ring" on the other end goes over the nylon line, just connect the two otherwise. Was a solid fix for me in the end I only used 2 pieces from the kit and a minuscule amount of parts I could most likely fix other cars with what I have left. Hope my explanation makes sense and it's not overly complicated. My vote of confidence.

Huge Thank you!!!! This is exactly what I needed to repair my damaged fuel lines at my fuel pump sender. It had all the fittings I needed to rebuild the fuel line. The price is fair considering the OE line I needed was over $100. The OE line was also out of stock. I’m so glad this kit allowed me to make the line I needed.Note: I am a Professional Automotive Technician. I highly recommend getting a professional to make the line for you if you are not qualified.

This kit made a potentially rugged job easy. I had rusting, leaky fuel lines in a 1999 Buick Park Ave Ultra. I stripped out all the old rusty steel lines and replaced them all with these vinyl lines. I couldn’t be happier. The kit had plenty of everything I needed to get the job done. The car will probably outlive me now. A heat gun and clamp crimping tool make this an even easier job to contend with. I’m no mechanic but you should have some basic mechanical knowledge to do this job. No more leaks or leaking fuel lines. Also helped the car run better.
