I’ve bought probably 50 guitars in my lifetime. I have 22 at present, from cheap to expensive, most major brands. For years, I’ve done all my own repairs and upgrades. So yes, I know how to nit-pick a guitar - if there are issues I’ll spot them quickly.I’ve been playing this guitar everyday for about a week. I’d rate the quality control 99.9%!!! Wow. - And that’s just not the case with most guitars, not even expensive ones. This guitar has all the fine touches that a professional would appreciate, but it is also the perfect guitar for a beginner. It’s a hard tail (string through fixed bridge), so set up and changing strings is easy. And, it has a bottom wheel truss rod adjustment, so setting neck relief is fast and easy, too. (Just bear in mind, if you require a tremolo-whammy bar- this is a hard tail.)I know there are a lot of decent guitars between $200 and $400 on the market. Amazon occasionally discounts this guitar to $503. If you’re buying your first guitar, spend the $500 - you won’t regret it. This is a guitar you would keep for the rest of your life.I could go for another hour describing The fit. The finish. The alignment; the humbuckers, the tuners, the bone nut, the pots, the switch; the bridge, the saddles, the cavities, the compound neck, the compound fretboard, the Indian rosewood, the mahogany body, the frets. But just suffice to say, everything exceeds expectations. Especially the active pick ups; which sound fantastic playing CLEAN or dirty - a real surprise.Speaking of looks, it’s a good looking Telecaster, though not a head turner; if that’s what you’re looking for, buy an explorer with a red sunburst finish. That said, I really like the satin, charcoal-black, slightly hammered finish on this guitar.OK, the only two negatives: (1) Slight neck dive, easily corrected with a “sticky” strap or a clasp. I use a 1/2” X 2” money clip to clamp the guitar strap to a belt loop on the back of my pants. No matter how much I jump around, the guitar stays in place. (2) Fret 11 was slightly high, but not enough to cause string buzz, even with low action and aggressive picking.Everything considered, the guitar was a nice surprise. I set the action mid 6’s, the relief .005”, slight adjustment to intonation, tuned and started playing.

I own nearly 70 guitars - all makes, models and styles. This is by far the best value for the money, which is saying a lot considering the high quality of budget models from Squire these days. This guitar was shipped to me directly from China via DHL, so I expected that it would require some setup work. I was wrong. Out of the box, this guitar was setup perfectly. The quality and craftsmanship are worthy of a price tag that is 3x or higher priced than this guitar was.The "no-name" pickups sound great with lots of punch. These are active pickups, so without a 9V battery, they will not work (battery NOT included). The neck feels smooth ant the rolled edges on the SS frets is amazing. The beauty of the Mahogany body and the roasted maple neck are covered by a beautiful matte black finish that looks great and feels nice.I cannot believe that I was able to get a guitar this nice for $300. As of this writing, this guitar is no longer available, but I hope they come back in stock soon.

As an oldies rock and rockabilly, country and blues picker, this is advertised as something I’d probably not go for. But, if you like very low comfortable action and well built guitars for a bargain, you’d be missing out. This guitar is so much more impressive than the photos reflect. If you lay back on the pickups and don’t attack hard, it won’t break up like you fear. However, if you wanted to bear down, yes, you could get more overdriven sound. All based on your attack. So, it’s not a death metal type rig, or anything like that, to me. Just a very well built tele style that was setup perfectly and is a great guitar. This is my 3rd Guitar by this brand.

This is my second Eart guitar. This one has very a nice fretboard with steel frets like my other Eart guitar. However it is a lot lighter, has superior pick ups and is a pleasure to play.Currently Amazon is selling it for $503 plus tax. As recently as April’ 24 this same guitar was listed for $300.00. I should have bought it then. Nevertheless it still is a good acquisition. It is far superior to any Fender including those that are selling at two to three times this price.

I’ve had this guitar for about two months now, and I’m still blown away with the quality of this guitar. I love the finish of it, and it’s very comfortable to play. The ball end frets are a nice feature, especially for a guitar in this price range. I had anticipated swapping the pickups, but I’m happy with the ones that came with it.Overall, this guitar is great quality, very comfortable, and let’s be honest, it looks cool too. I’m already tempted to buy another guitar from Eart.

Don’t hesitate in buying this, EART makes great guitars. It’s perfect right out of the box, very nice tuners, low action, no buzz, well-cut nut. I only heard active pickups one other time on a contemporary Squier so I can’t judge them but I play clean/edge of breakup and it has a nice clean that my other guitars don’t. The necks are my favorite part on these. Super easy to play, shiny, shiny frets with those ball ends. Just buy it.

This thing is a nice guitar at this price point. Pick ups sound great, just no nonsense metal guitar.
