I bought this so that I could help my preteen daughter achieve her dreams of learning to pitch. I played softball when I was younger and felt confident in my ability to get behind the plate after putting in this gear. The equipment looks sharp, was comfortable, and offered great protection from her fastball.

This was purchased for a 5'3" 120lb 13yro girl for fastpitch softball. We had troubles trying to find a set where all pieces fit my daughter. Other brands as well as other Easton models we found the shin guards were either too small or fit uncomfortably because she is a little longer in the legs for her age and has an athletic build. This hit the jackpot for her with every piece. She also wears glasses and has no issue with them under the facemask. We chose the white color so that it wouldn't be as hot during the summer games. I can see her in this set for a few seasons. If you are worried about the price, take that number and divide it with the number of years you can see it being used. Breaking down that yearly cost logic is a no-brainer when it comes to knowing they will be comfortably protected to play at the top of their game.
