The large view screen allows you to see the entire work area when also preventing next strain of fatigue when you are welding in tight areas or even under a car.

Comfortable Head Gear
5 way adjustable headgear with sweat band for the perfect fit and comfort while welding. It will comfortably fit a head circumference between 21.6” – 24.8".
Controls
Infinitely adjustable sensitivity delay and shade adjustment. The main viewing area can be dimmed from shade 4 to 13, with Grind feature. Grind mode allows you to quickly reshape tungsten, grind spot welds and more without having to the remove the helmet.
Large Viewing Area
Compatible with a 2” x 4.25” plate size magnifying lens.
Uses easily replaceable CR2450 batteries for power and has a low battery indicator to let you know when replacement is needed.
True Color Technology
The True Color Technology allows a realistic color perception so you have a much clearer view of what you are welding.

I have a titanium HF auto darkening mask at work and I only had a fixed shade at home. I ordered this for at home and it works great! Will have to switch out my other helmet for one of these.

Helmet works as advertised. Good value. Good helmet. Only suggestion is to include some direction for adjustment of the head band. There are so many ways to adjust it that it takes a while to get it so that it is just right. Some explanation of what does what would save some frustration.

Used for Home MIG welding. For the short time I have had this mask it has been excellent. Darkens immediately, light weight.

I liked everything about this hood Except for the grind mode not working properly. Doesn’t seem to keep from auto darkening in grind mode which can be quite dangerous so I just stopped using this helmet for grinding. Looking back I would’ve picked up the XL for $20 more because the true color on the 6700 is awesome but the XL has better features in my opinion. The plastic is also a lot weaker than my 3M Hood but But you get what you pay for and I can see a lot better out of my Eastwood I just use the 3M hood when I’m going to be welding for long periods of time.

This hood has changed welding for me. I also bought an Optrel Crystal 2.0 but I'd rather save the $350 and use this one. It has a larger viewing area and the color looks more real. Now I can see all the details of tig welding to produce better quality welds. This hood beats Esab Sentinel and the Optrel hands down and is super comfortable. I will be buying this hood again for myself and one for my wife.

So far the best welding helmet I have used for the price. A little more expensive then a harbor freight helmet but worth the extra money that wont break the bank.

I added 2.5 cheaters also purchased on Amazon. I can see very well now. Only three stars for comfort due to the head band, not a bad product, anything with a head band I find uncomfortable, that's just me. It is battery powered and I forgot to shut it off, checked it three days later and the low batt light was on. Get some 2450 batteries from Amazon, they are costly at a store.
