This 40mm (L) x 40mm (W) x 30mm (H) extruded aluminum heatsink kit is specially designed for Cooling 3D Printer Motor, NEMA 17, TEC1-12706 Thermoelectric Peltier Modules. This set of heatsink height is 30mm. This kit is made from 6063-T5 aluminum alloy with high thermal conductivity 201 W/m.K, structure stability and light weight. The heatsink extrusion is in vertical and horizontal grooves; that is greatly increases the heat dissipation function. The surface of extruded aluminum is anodized in black. This kit of heatsink comes with 40x40mm pre-applied thermal conductive double sided adhesive tape, for easy installation and optimum heat conductivity.

These are coated.. Absolutly the wrong thing to do to a heatsink. I ended up throwing them allaway. I am really irritated. I figured just a smidge of color.. NOPE.. heavy paint. Its ability to damage you far outweighs its non existant ability to do its job.. Angry retired bench teck, Montana

My 2 motors running the belts were getting really hot and one was hot enough to slightly warp the PLA filament housing on this mostly all printed PLA frame. It was a longer print but there is not enough cooling due to how they are surrounded by PLA filament on all but one side. So the heat can only dissipate or escape out the top and the PLA filament just absorbs it on the sides causing warpage. So I snagged these and it has solved my issue. I plan to strap some 40mm fans to the tops to increase air movement across the fins to dissipate more heat. So far the motors are staying cooler according to taking their temperatures compared to before. It's amazing how just adding heatsinks fixes this issue overall. They look of high quality too. Not sure what to do when or if I have to remove them for any reasons. Guess I'll have to source some heatsink replacement pads.

Good heatsinks for steppers, plenty of surface area, keeps my motors very cool with out alot of air flow, these stick really well, unlike some others I got they fell off after a few hours these held up over a 12 hour print with no issues
