This was hung into drywall! It calls for 32 nails which were provided. We did all of this in less than 20 mins. It gives ya options to hang in a stud or just into the drywall. Works perfectly! To hang in the drywall the tv needs to be less than 100lbs.

I have a wall with metal studs and it was a problem to install other supports. Yes, this one does not have the option to separate the TV from the wall or change the angle of vision (except for some vertical angle change) but in exchange, it is extremely easy to install and the TV looks great so integrated with the wall. The instructions are fantastic, and the quality looks very good, I recommend it without any doubt!I recommend it for TVs with a very small "belly" in the back (so mostly flat) and better if your connections can be accessed by the side and not by the back, but if that is your case, this is fantastic!

Super easy to install, amazing durability and low profile! For reference my TV is a 55" Vizio about 5yrs old so it's a bit heavier than the newer ones. Where I live (apartment) the walls a pretty much useless to actually try and drill or screw anything into them, even with anchors the drywall is brittle and cracks so I wasn't sure how this would hold up but figured why not try it, if It doesn't work all I have to do is patch the small holes and you won't even be able to tell I tried. So glad I did! I did use 2 different levels to make sure it stayed perfectly level and I started from the outside holes and worked my way inwards, I used the level each time I put a nail in and the built in level on the mount helps A LOT but you just have to make sure you are constantly checking the level, otherwise you could end up with issues.Even with the levels it's super easy to install, once the wall brackets up, you just put the brackets on the back of your TV, make sure tho you plug the HDMI, cat cables or anything else that gets plugged in the BACK of the TV; is done before you try to hang it, otherwise once the TV is up they aren't getting plugged in unless you take it down again. LolIf you have a smaller TV (40" or under) and your confident in holding/balancing that weight then you can probably make this a 1 person job; however if you have a larger TV 2 people is a must in order to get it positionrd in the wall mount and centered properly and locked (if you choose to lock it in place).Since my TV is larger I have not had any issues with the bracket sliding around in the wall mount as some others have stated BUT if you have a small or lighter weight TV I would def use the lock function on the mount.Absolutely would recommend this to anyone, especially people looking for renter friendly TV mounts.

I ended up going with the dry wall version of the mount just to save the time of having to find studs on the wall. I was a bit nervous as I have a 75 inch Vizio that weighs around 65lbs.The install was smooth, the mount comes with a built in leveler and the hardware included fit my TV.I’ve had it installed and my TV mounted for a few days now and have 0 complaints, it holds the TV well and is sturdy. I used the included spacers to keep the TV flush as that is my preference. And finally I am impressed with the weight it could could comfortably.

Seriously, it IS that easy.I'd been dreading trying to mount my 32" flat screen television to my bedroom wall for sometime, because even though it's fairly small it's kinda "old" by electronic standards and as such kinda heavy for a flat screen television. Not only that, the drywall in my house seems to have everything instantly fall out of it if you don't find a stud - and the studs are those seemingly useless but simultaneously impossible to bust through with a normal drill metal stud strips and I feel like they're placed every five feet from each other in the most inconvenient locations?!Anyway this amazing, seemingly impossible product comes along and I'm just....okay sure, let's give it a shot...Holy cannoli. I've had my TV hanging on my wall for three days now via this mount and the little finishing nails it gives you to mount it, and I almost feel like I could hang an anchor off of this beast and it still wouldn't yank down the drywall - and it only took like, ten minutes to hang everything fully.Okay I'm not actually going to hang an anchor, but for the drywall it holds up to 100lbs. And I believe it!It's fairly straightforward in use and application, though as others have said I recommend using your own level despite it having a built-in one. Other than that, enjoy the hilarity in which the user manual was written and tackle that TV mounting you've been putting off because it takes longer to program the remote than to hang this sucker!

It makes a lot of holes but they are all small and will be easy to conceal if I ever have to take the mount down. On balance, this is the easiest to install and least problematic TV wall mount I have ever used.

Really great mounting option, especially when trying to keep a slim profile. I relocated the outlet box behind the TV, but failed to consider that my existing mount wouldn’t fit around the new outlet box. I also put up offset slat paneling. Because of this, I needed a new mount that would still allow the TV to sit centered and fit around the box. The studs behind the TV are 24” apart in this section, so even if I would have found a regular mount it wouldn’t work. This was an AMAZING find and made my project work without any revision. Easy to use, comes with all the hardware, and is high quality. I’m confident I could hang from the mount and it wouldn’t go anywhere. The built in level is also a huge bonus. BUY IT!

Exactly what I needed. A mount that was as slim, yet study as possible. Very easy to install. I was a bit nervous about how well this would hold and planned to use the screwed into some studs but for where I needed to mount none of the studs lined up with the holes. The TV has been up for several months with no problems. There is another brand that was less expensive. The product was similar but it didn't have the locking mechanism. I bought this one for that feature to ensure the TV doesn't get bumped off its track/hanger.
