You simply cannot go wrong. I stopped buying Chinese junk can openers a while back, haven't looked back. Now, how about a mobile version of this rugged can opener? Say one that opens small cans on the go, think camping, emergency.

I purchased a cheaper one but it left metal shavings in cans. I had to return. I was advised this is the one the government uses in their commercial kitchens. Spend the extra and you wont be disappointed. My cooks are happy to have this can opener to make their job easier. You can see and fee the quality when you unpack it. I opened and handled both so I was able to see and feel the quality difference, My staff showed me how much better this product was to the others..Happy Cooks and prep staff is vary important :)

works great on #10 cans. I screwed it down to a heavy butcher block cutting board since I needed it to be movable. I own a small catering company and in the past we used the Hand Crank openers, but thy would break after a few weeks. Finally decided instead of ordering thous by the case at $15 each just bite the bullet and pay $100 for quality.

It works beautifully but it arrived rusted. I had to use it because I had a big event and didn't have the time to return it.
