Bought to replace current terminals that had buildup on them. Good value for the money and got the job done.

Worked great. I just needed the positive on a 2009 Ram. Fit perfectly.

I'm an engineer for a tier-1 automotive supplier of electrical components (but not battery terminals), so I know my way around. I'm also a certified mechanic who builds cars for a hobby. This terminal is OEM quality and a direct replacement for many cars, but I used it for a custom harness on an LS-swapped Jeep I built. These are 100x better than the old solid-lead terminals - less corrosion, easier to put on and remove, and don't use the stupid clamp to press bare copper into lead like so many aftermarket replacements. Worth every penny for these.

For some reason Dodge decided to use small circular, positive battery terminals, and larger circular, negative battery terminals, on their 2005 1500 pickups. Went to AutoZone, O'Reilly's, Carquest, and NAPA without success. Even the Mopar dealer told me they could only sell the complete positive/negative wiring harnesses that included these terminals. Long story short, these terminals worked perfectly. Took only a few minutes to get all the existing cables connected and working properly. Not USA made but come from Korea and the manufacturer claims copper alloy and tin plated terminals. More expensive than auto parts stores, but they work. May be the only 1500-friendly terminals on Amazon. And don't forget the battery terminal protection spray!

The entire cable looks like it has to be replaced however, order this for a Jeep JK and you will need a pair of tin snips and regular hand tools. You have to unfold the steel covering the terminal bolt, cut the old terminal out with tin snips, take the bolt from the new terminal and install it where the factory terminal retaining bolt. The steel you pulled up can either be trimmed back or folded over the bottom of the new terminal retaining bolt/stud location. Install the retaining nut and tighten. Install the terminal and use some battery corrosion protectant.
