The opening is SO small that they're nearly unusable. It opens to less than 1/8th inch. The actual measurement is barely more than 2mm (which is about 30% less than 1/8th inch for non-metric friends). That's tiny for a carabiner. Some keys and rings wouldn't even fit through that. In my photos I posted an example of a small-ish keyring (measures just under 2mm tall) compared to it, and it just barely fits. It's a bummer because aside from that, these are great. They're super cute, they mostly arrived undamaged, they open and close easily, they're sturdy feeling, and they would fit a decent amount of keys or charms IF you could get them on there lol. I'm still giving it three stars because of the positives and because maybe this size opening isn't a problem for other people. I just personally think it makes them almost useless.

These surprised me with their size, they are bigger than I expected but that just means they can hold more. They are well made with the nut unscrewing and screwing up very smoothly on the threads. They are solid and should carry a bit of weight, the only problem I can see is when unscrewed there is only a small gap for you to get anything through, this means larger thicker keys/items will not pass through, for normal keys it is fine though.

These are the perfect carabiner for crafting or making keychains. They are a great large size and the quality is fantastic. A nice gold color, exactly as pictured, and the closure screws into place with easy. Great value and quality.

This pack of 8 keyrings are really nice, rather stylish in the solid brass finish. The one part unscrews to be able to add and remove keys, and screws back to create a full loop.I found that when opened, it doesn't actually leave that large an opening to be able to fit keys on easily, so you're having to manipulate it a little bit. There is also no way to fully secure it unless you screw it shut super tightly, but even with that, you never know when something will become loose so you have to be aware of that.Aesthetically, it's nice an neat looking, doesn't take up a lot of space, nor does it add much weight.

These carabiner-style keyrings are surprisingly large and robust. This is advantageous, as there is ample space for keys of all types, and the rings are not easily bent. The two ends fasten together with a threaded nut, which offers a secure connection to prevent keys from slipping off.Larger keys, such as those used in mortice locks or car keys, may present a challenge, as the space between the two ends is quite narrow. However, standard Yale-type keys fit comfortably. These keyrings offer good value for money and provide a decent alternative to a regular keyring.
