Overview
The E-flite 30-Amp Pro Switch-mode BEC Brushless ESC (V2). This is a high-quality sensorless brushless electronic speed control with an integrated switch-mode BEC that is very lightweight and efficient. It can operate without the need for a separate receiver battery to power your servos and receivers, saving you weight and complication.

When the original speed controller and BEC died on my Apprentice S I ended up buying this because it is an exact replacement and no programming is required for the stock brushless motor. Installation is straightforward even for a beginner and no soldering is required.

The original BEC in my E-flite Apprentice S 15e went out. I ordered this and programmed it to match the settings for the Apprentice and it worked flawlessly. Just know that the default settings for this BEC are NOT set for the Apprentice.

Works! Then I proceeded to fly my plan into a large field far away up in a large pine tree and will never see the plane again. No way to get to it. Maybe long from now someone will find it. But it flew and this made it happen!
