E-flite 4-Site 3D FF RC Airplane Introduction

In the early 2000s, "flat foamy" models were extremely popular because they could be scratch-built from foam sheets you could buy in many stores. Today, most foam models are fully molded sport and scale aircraft – and few can match the unique capabilities and performance of flat foam models, especially those designed and built for aerobatic plus 3D flying! The E-flite® 4-Site 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 800mm is based on the original F3P and UMX models and is a biplane alternative to the popular Eratix 3D FF that's taken the market by storm. It's perfect for experienced pilots who already build and fly flat foam models, intermediate pilots who are interested in them but don't want to undertake a complicated build, and less experienced pilots who have always wanted to try but were intimidated by the extra effort and skills required to buy, build and fly such a model. The 4-Site 3D FF is the easiest to fly, most convenient, and best value in a biplane flat foamy model yet!

E-flite 4-Site 3D FF RC Airplane Overview

The E-flite® 4-Site 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 800mm offers the aggressive aerobatic plus smooth sport and slow-flying performance of similar class models – without all the hassles of buying components for and building one! It bolts and snaps together so it can be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery compared to the glue, tape, and many hours it usually takes to assemble other "flat foamy" aircraft. It's a biplane alternative to the best-selling Eratix 3D FF with a shorter wingspan but more wing area for lower wing loading overall. Its lightweight yet extremely durable EPP airframe is mostly factory-assembled and includes three durable and precise metal-geared servos on all the control surfaces

I was sent a used plane that had multiple problems. The first time I took it out of the box, the rudder was significantly bent i used a hair dryer to heat the foam to try and straighten it.But I did not notice the fuselage was broken under the top wing, and this is what caused it to crash severely. Everything about this plane was positively in used condition, even the box was severely damaged. In hindsight I should’ve just returned it then BUT I tried to fly it and that was a mistake!!

This is not a toy. It's not for beginners. However, if you want to learn 3D, this is a good bird for it. Very forgiving. Want to learn to fly in wind? Great practice bird. Is it heavier than a build FF, yes. But it's worth it, you don't notice the weight. Nothing else to be said. Anything less than 5 stars is a pilot trying to blame the bird for poor flying capabilities & I would suggest getting on a sim. This bird doesn't get any easier. 👌

This is a great flying plane. It will fly slow or fast depending on what you want to do with it. Assembly is easy, with the exception of the wing braces. They are not that difficult but are a bit tedious. After that it is a fun plane to fly.
