EFT Racing Stage 1 clutch kit is an upgrade heavy-duty clutch set up for those who seeks streetable high performance clutch. It is a direct factory replacement parts thus no modifications are needed. The EFT Racing pressure plate features special single diaphragm design to increase clamp load. It features induction hardened diaphragm, CNC machined castings, stronger drive straps and rivets. Clutch is a nice replacement, took about 250miles to seat with driving normally, nice and smooth shifts, clutch engages as soon as you let off the pedal.

I've been running this clutch in my 91 Legacy. The break-in took a few heat cycles. It shutters on occasion but that could be something else too. I haven't had it slip on me even with hard driving. I've clutch dumped the car at 5k rpm and it's grabbed. After 5k miles I took a look at the clutch/flywheel/pressure plate and it all looked good still. I've done about 15,000 miles so far and it has held up just fine. I WOULD recommend this clutch.

Fit my 98 Subaru Forester even though Amazon swore that it would not fit despite seller information claiming otherwise. Please listen to seller information as this is more accurate than Amazon's car part finder.Clutch much more firm but you'd have to have polio to actually complain that the peddle is "too stiff" to press in.Parts are made in South Korea and match OE quality.Will definitely buy all future clutch parts from here.Best bang for your buck!

installed on an 2002 subaru forester L. after install I test drove and this clutch has a fantastic feel and is smooth! it grabs early but a smooth transition for normal driving, then you feel the bite when going through the gears. the clutch pedal is only minimally stiffer, my wife may not know the difference as this is her car. I will have to look at this clutch for our other vehicle. they are packaged well and sealed so you won't have to worry about premature corrosion before it's on the vehicle.
