It's a piece of junk. Instead of cracking the egg, it smashes it. I ended up throwing it in the thrash.

I cracked several eggs, Grade A Large, in a row and found this egg cracker slow, clumsy, and does a bad job. The plunger punctured through (wrong side) made a mess. When the front shell piercers did puncture the shell, the jaws don't open wide enough to allow the egg to easily escape. Again, a bit messy and slow.

Simply put - it doesn't do the job its advertised to do. Almost impossible to crack an egg over the frying pan without the shell falling in or the yolk breaking. I bought it a couple of months ago and have held off reviewing it until I was sure I wasn't overreacting. I threw it in the trash. Save your money.

Got it to work once in over a dozen tries. Cracks the egg in unpredictable ways. Usually end up with a broken egg shell in the pan. Waste of money.

It cracks the eggshell just fine but does not separate them properly creating a mess
