This product makes no sense. If the product is submerged in hot water how are you supposed to release the lever without burning your self. Plus eggs don’t even release right. Worthless

It is a good concept, but the handle gets hot and it is very difficult to clean. Way too much maintenance to clean.

Very poorly designed. The finger levers that you use to pull the spring loaded egg compartments upward are very low and way too close to the hot water. Makes it impossible to use to release the eggs. Will be trashing this complete wasste of money.

Do Not buy this item ! It is impossible to get out of the mold. The ejection part sticks, and it is impossible to clean, is not non-stick. When trying to release the eggs it is too hot to handle and the eggs turn out too thick and by the time you manage to get the egg out the white falls off. Buy single poaching rings instead.

We were looking for a non toxic way to poacher eggs. We were optimistic to try this and it were disappointed.We used this in a small frying pan and fill it with water below the top of the egg holder, as it indicates. But because you cannot cover this with a lid, the eggs have to be cooked longer, and what ends up happening is the eggs over cooked (hard) on the bottom where they are exposed to the water and are under cooked (raw!) On top. Good idea and yet needs it's own pot. Returning all 3 i purchased.

Sprayed the metal, but eggs stuck. Spring is so tight I could not pull it separate. Sharp metal exposed, risking my pan finish. Good concept, poor execution.

it works but its rather a pain to use, you have to hold onto the spring area to even lift the top up. It’s impossible to use when you’ve poached eggs and release them.
