The only issue I had with this is if you put too much oil inside to keep the egg from sticking then the egg falls out and does not stay within the round shape of the egg holder and if you don’t put enough oil in there, the egg will stick to the inside of it. You have to learn how to put just the right amount of oil to make it work good

The non stick coating is inadequate.Whilst cooking, eggs whites stick to the side. Accordingly, to separate cooked eggs from the ring you have to run a knife round the inside perimeter of the ring. Not impressed.

I got these for my husband. He makes himself breakfast every morning, and he does like a little variety. Not too much, mind you. But a little. Here is what he wrote up about these egg rings:Most of the time I prefer making burritos for breakfast but sometimes I don't want to go through all the prep work for all the ingredients I tend to add. At those times, I like to change it up a little with a quick sausage and egg sandwich, which is much easier, and these rings help a lot. The first time I used them, I freaked out about halfway through the cooking process when I realized that I had not sprayed or oiled the rings. It actually turned out okay though, because the eggs came loose with a small shake and a little coaxing from the spatula. There was a little fried egg left on the ring but not too bad. I think it helped that the rings were already hot but I'm not sure. Lesson learned though. With a little oil everything comes apart nicely. This particular set of egg rings, 7.6 cm X2.2 cm, will just barely hold the extra large eggs that come from our chickens. If I want to add anything like cheese or diced jalapeños (which is something I like to do) it needs to go on after. If mixed with the egg before pouring, the ring will not contain it. I did have a little leakage under the ring but I have never used one of these types of rings without that happening. Even with the leakage, it contains the egg nicely, and keeps it from getting into the sausage or hash-browns, which can be annoying.All-in-all I expect to get some decent use out of these and would certainly recommend them.

UPDATE 11/2/2022I tried using them again and liberally coated them with oil and everything stuck again, as usual. In addition, after I washed them (and had to scrape off cooked egg) I noticed that whatever the coating is was staring to come off. This is not only terribly cheap, but probably dangerous since it is likely a toxic coating that you wouldn't want in your food. Avoid this company's products.************I got these because my silicone one tore and I thought these would be a good replacement. They aren't. I used them twice so far and am not impressed at all.First, they are very small, a little too small for an English muffin breakfast sandwich. Second, they leak no matter what. They also appear to have some sort of coating on them that looks like it would be non-stick but it isn't. Even when using oil inside (as directed), the eggs stuck in two out of four of them. Mini pancakes worked no better; leaked and stuck. This makes me wonder what the coating is and why it even has it.I guess they might not stick if you pressed ground beef or sausage in them because of the grease they'll produce while cooking, but they would be really small burger patties.Overall these a big disappointment and I will buy a couple of new silicone ones instead. Not recommended.

I gave this two tries before reviewing, because the first try was a bit of a letdown. The rings did not contain the eggs in my (high quality) stainless steel pan. It seems there was a (very) slight dome built into the center of the pan. For the second try, I used cast iron, which was truly flat. Much better result. I sprayed the rings inside the pan with cooking spray each time, but was a bit more generous the second time, which seemed to help with removing the eggs. They came out very cleanly. I could even lift the eggs out of the pan with the handle and jiggle them out onto my bun, so it saved me a spatula. Kinda cool. The biggest perk for me is that these nicely contain shredded cheese on top of the egg, preventing it from scorching on the pan.The biggest drawback is that I prefer to cook my eggs under a lid and flip halfway through for faster cooking, and the handles prevent this. However, the handles are removable, so I may try taking them off next time and try flipping them.3 stars because they work and are good quality, but they don't really make cooking eggs any easier.

My husband loves his eggs over hard and thought this would be a great option for him to try out with breakfast. The rings are of decent quality and there are 4 in a set. The eggs turned out great in them, but did stick a little bit trying to get them out of the rings. It doesn't appear to have a Teflon type coating on it to that would allow the eggs to slide easily out from the ring molds.

I have been using a silicone egg ring for the past couple of years and every time I used it, I was thinking it probably wasn't the best idea to have the hot silicone almost melting together with our eggs in the skillet--maybe not the healthiest idea?! So, I was excited to get this new set of 4 rings made of a much sturdier/more durable stainless steel. They are so helpful in keeping the eggs and pancakes in perfect circular order--no more runny, misshapen breakfast foods for us. The only thing that made me the slightest bit nervous when using these is that I have a brand new non-stick pancake griddle and I worried that these rings might scratch the surface? They haven't yet and it's not as if you are rubbing them back and forth on the surface, but I guess I am just extra cautious because I am putting metal on non-stick surfaces..I just set them down lightly when in use and lift them off gently. Also, be sure to add a touch of oil or butter to the inside of the ring before cooking so that the food will slide right out. Overall, these are a great addition to our breakfast routine and I am so happy I ordered them.
