Well built, sturdy, and powerful. Cleans walkway down to dry bricks. Works well on light snow but does not clean snow packed by vehicles. Rather heavy and pushes back. This tool needs an operator with some size and strength to be affective.

This thing is heavy, but does the job.In my case, I’m using this to clean up the back yard.It moves the debris easily, but watch out for the kick back. It works easier to pull than to push, which seems to always be the case.I like this addition to my Ego tools, which are quality built.

A tale of two surfaces... I have a gravel driveway with an asphalt apron and so purchased the multi-head system and the Bristle Brush to clean the asphalt and to push the stones back onto the driveway in the non asphalt areas. My first thought was that this is simply too heavy - I'm a strong guy and even with the shoulder strap, have a hard time walking with this. As I turned it on over the asphalt, it nearly pushed me backwards into the street. Ok, that was a learning experience and after a while, I was able to do a good job of clearing the 15x8 foot section of asphalt of stones and dust, however, I was exhausted. When I moved to gravel-over-dirt part of my driveway, the process was impossible. The things has enormous power and is difficult to balance. When I tried to use the brush to move the gravel out of the lawn, all I did was dig deep gouges in the grass. I love the Ego system and own a weed-wicker (not part of the multi-family), a chainsaw and a leaf blower, all of which are great for a weekend handyman. I would hesitate to say this about the bristle brush. I think you can clean an asphalt driveway of debris fairly well, but it is a struggle, but clearing the gravel out of the grass is impossible. If you are a professional and do this all day,, it probably is a great tool.

We are quite happy with this broom attachment for the EGO system. Works great.We use it to clear stuck-on debris from our aslphalt driveway. We did find it is easier to use with the Ego extension rod. It helps hold the brush to the ground at a more comfortable angle.

I bought this to pull dead grass out of my lawn without having to tear up the turf roots using a typical thatcher. To do this I turned the brush over and pulled it backwards rather than walk forward. Because it does not sling dead grass or debris all over, I also removed the guard which enhanced my ability to better see the thatching in progress. In addition, if you use the brush in normal attaching position, it works great for removing a couple inches of snow, especially powder snow. Just remember, it will not throw the snow to the side like a typical snowblower, rather it “sweeps” the snow away.

I purchased this to clean the patio prior to sealing it. I have many EGO attachments for the Power Head and this one made cleaning/prep simple.It attaches to the Power Head easily, as does every attachment. It's big - bigger than I was expecting. To clean the patio, I pre-sprayed it with 30-Second general purpose cleaner. It's basically a bleach solution, but it works. I let it sit, then went over the area with this brush. Manually scrubbing would have taken hours - this made very fast work of it. The brush spins away from you, so it pushes back against your body, but it never feels like its' going to get away from you. If you are doing a patio, keep it at a 45 deg angle to your joints so you don't dig out the sand (and it will, efficiently!). And don't push down, let the brush do the work.I did about 500 sq. ft. of patio in about 2 hours. The before and after pictures show the results. This will work on any surface as well - wood, concrete, driveway paving, etc. It's a huge time saver!

I have a snow removal business all electric ego stuff and this thing is a life saver for pesky footprints left by the leaf blower and the nasty slush on warm temperatures, also grate for brushing ice before salting. She likes the juice though so good to have extra batteries. It’s heavy and somewhat cumbersome but slides along nice on the concrete when not in use so she drags well, ounce you get the hang of it fantastic tool for the collection. This tool is not designed for deep snow even two inches she will overthrow on your path, not a good tool for deep snow removal but a fantastic helper for cleanup and those sticky situations where you would have to pull out the shovel, huge time saver for sure.

I returned this product after trying it on a number of different tasks around the house and found no good fit for it. 1) There is a little space between the two halves of the brush that does not get as clean, and you also cannot get the cylindrical brush head all the way to the edge of a walled surface area because of its large radius. 2) It throws all the brushed gunk forward, dirtying anything you point it at. 3) It is tiring to use because it is so heavy and it pushes back on you pretty hard. 4) It's big and awkwardly shaped so difficult to store. 5) If you want to clear snow, get the snow attachment instead because it will let you aim the thrown snow (I have it and it's great). As it is, I can't think of any task this brush could do that is not done better by a manual push brush.

If you like EGO products, and I do, then this attachment is a must have if you like to have a clean driveway or walkway. It assembles in a few minutes, EGO is good about that, and attaches easily to the power unit.Do not be fooled into thinking that this a tiny motor sweeper that will gently brush away debris. This unit is a monster driven by a power motor. If you are going to use the broom attachment, know that this unit can easily push you away, so brace yourself. However, it will clean away grime, dirt and other organic debris that may have accumulated and brush it away until all you have just the original medium. No soap and water needed; this power broom will clean an 2foot by 2foot area in 3 seconds.

I've used this to clean my basement, sidewalks, even used it a bit on the lawn. On the lawn it kind of tore it up, but that's on me. I was going to use it to de-thatch the lawn, but it kind of pulled everything up. So I stopped doing that. The sidewalk hasn't been cleaned in years. This didn't make it look new, but it was a huge improvement. Though I haven't used it yet in snow, I think it will be great for doing my small driveway and sidewalk. That's as long as I get to it before it gets 3 feet deep.I'm sure there's other uses which I haven't thought of yet. I really like having this tool in my garage.EGO makes some great products. They pretty much always get 5 stars from me. I only gave the maneuverability a 4 cuz I think it's better if ya turn it upside down and use it that way. It can be a touch heavy if you're using it for long periods of time. That's on me though, as I'm getting older and probably not as strong as I once was.
