Technically it works but the dial to zero the meter is almost impossible to zero. Also, not accurate enough for long term parasitic drain testing. After a few minutes, screen starts flashing and turns off. I got new battery, same problem.

It works pretty well. Even though I don't have the CD drive anymore, I was able to find the software download link on the website provided in the user manual. Package is simple but great as it comes with a pouch bag for the item. Lovely.

The product came with a CD that is not compatible with modern laptops that don't have CD drives. The manual is sketchy with very little elucidation or explanation on the meter operation. I used it to measure the leakage current on my 2006 Trailblazer and got ambiguous results because the meter kept drifting. Reversing the current probe and subtracting the two reading may help but I haven't tried this yet. The current clip does not work well in cramped spaces.I have to resurrect and old laptop to try again with the software, which requires use of a USB cable.The product came in a ripped box. I probably should have returned it but it appeared to be unused.
