I agree with one of the other reviews about volume: use volume control buttons. After just a couple of uses I can say this is the best bike horn ever because I can safely sound the horn without moving my grip or thumb. And it’s rechargeable. I’m going to get another one for my son’s scooter.

This is an incredibly loud digital horn. My dogs always get freaked out when I press the button accidentally whilst moving my bicycle indoors after a ride. I installed the button on my handlebar, actually on top of my left grip, so the trigger could be within easy reach of my finger while riding.

I recently got this electric bike horn and have been extremely impressed with its performance. The quick trigger grip makes it easy to activate the horn in emergency situations, and the sound reaches up to 120 db, ensuring that you will be heard by other vehicles and pedestrians. The rechargeable feature is also a huge plus, as it eliminates the need for constantly replacing batteries. The sleek black design blends in seamlessly with my bike, and the placement on the right handlebar makes it easily accessible while riding. Overall, I feel much safer on the road with this horn attached to my bike.

This electric bike horn is great! It’s really loud—seriously loud at 120 dB—so people definitely hear you coming. That makes it way safer when you’re riding around cars or crowded areas. The quick trigger grip is helpful because it attaches right to the handlebar and is easy to press without moving your hand. I like that it’s rechargeable too, so you don’t have to worry about buying batteries all the time.

This so-called bike horn sounds awful! There was no video available when I ordered the item; otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered. It sounds like a personal alarm—the kind someone wears while jogging and would use when assaulted. I ordered this for my son and straight out of the box it came at max volume. One press of the button sent both my husband and son running over from across the house to see what it was. This would be way too jarring to use as a bike horn. That aside, it looks and feels well-made, and is easy to use.

I made the mistake of not listening to the demo video for this "horn," this is not a horn. Simulated or otherwise.A USB-C rechargeable bike horn sounds like a good idea in theory, but choosing horn sounds that the average person will recognize is kind of important. The four select-able sounds for this horn are confusing at best and absurd at worst. In the demo video they show someone approaching a vehicle that's backing out of a driveway, and the bicycle rider uses their horn. The sounds this thing emits would be highly unlikely to be recognized by the average driver, or worse they would be ignored for being nonsensical. If you're going to have a mini speaker with sounds to alert traffic, then use normal sounds that most people associate with alerts. Like a loud mechanical bicycle bell, an actual car sounding horn, or related horn/alert noises.

If you bike on busy city streets with lots of vehicle and pedestrians that all seem to be out to get you, then this Yowl rechargeable battery bike horn would be great for you. It is relatively small and compact, but can be very loud if you want it to be. It has a volume control that lets you tone it down some. The unit is easy to mount and remove for charging with the included cable from any user supplied standard USB charger. The horn is controlled with a thumb push button that can be activated without taking your hands off the bar. There are 4 different sounds available, but they all have attitude that screams, “Get the Hell out of my way”. If you ride in public parks or around the retirement village and want something that sounds more in the vain of “Please be aware and don't be alarmed when I pass you”, this Yowl horn is probably not for you. It is a quality product, but somewhat more expensive than other similar products.
