This is a great product, it works well and is a great solution to the awkwardness of mounting a brake controller on the dashboard or under the dash. Very happy with its functionality, handling, and the fact that it doesn't require disassembling the car, etc. Thank goodness! Extremely easy to connect and operate! I can now take it to other vehicles as well. Works great, even better than expected!

I decided to take a chance and ordered this for my 2000 Chevrolet Silverado even though it isn't listed as being compatible, and it works just fine with it! The plug fit the truck wiring perfectly and it fired the bluetooth right up. I downloaded the app and it paired in easily (for some reason, the instructions contain a QR code to get the android app, but for iPhone you just have to search it in the app store). Once paired, things are pretty straight forward. You have two adjustments dubbed "max output" (I believe this is GAIN) and "sensitivity adjustment" (I believe this is SYNC). Both options are adjusted with up/down arrows, which is fine for the sensitivity as there are only 10 levels, but the gain has 100 levels so it's somewhat annoying if you swap trailers and need to go from a 10 to a 90. It would be nice if it allowed you to just type in the level you want. There is also an option for "vehicle hazard lights", but this didn't seem to do anything when toggled which I will contribute to using with an "incompatible" vehicle, so I deduct no points for that. What I do deduct points for is the output and sensitivity adjustments seem very touchy and feel like they actually adjust the same thing. Traditionally, the gain (output) on a brake controller controls the percentage of braking applied to the trailer whereas the sync (sensitivity) adjusts how quickly it gets to that gain level. On this controller, I can have the gain set to 10 and the sensitivity set to 7 or higher and it will lock up the brakes as soon as I touch the pedal. I've had to play around with the gain and sensitivity settings to try and find an area where they play nicely together and don't try to rip the trailer off my hitch. With my previous controller, I could run a 2.5 gain with a 3 sync and get perfect braking out of my trailer, with this one I'm running a 50 output and a 5 sensitivity and it's still a bit rough, but it's the best I could get out of it. The other piece I deduct a point for is that the app has to be always on screen in order for the controller to operate. That means that 1. you have to launch the app and pair it every time you go to tow and 2. you have to have the app open in the foreground, so you can't run GPS or anything like that and have the map on screen or you'll lose your trailer brakes. It would be really nice if they made it so that the controller would save the last values set by the app and operate off those on default as opposed to not doing anything at all when the app isn't present. This would help mitigate the issue of having the app in the foreground at all times along with other scenarios that would currently result in you losing brakes like if your phone was to die. Overall, I'll keep this as a backup controller in case my hard-wired one fails, but due to it's limitations of operation, it will not be my primary controller.
