Works well for what I got it for. Eggshells. Grinds it up nice and fine and it is easy to use. Good quality and value for the money.

Have this for our RV. Can recharge when we have solar and then use when we don't. Really like the convenience.

My last grinder burned out and I've been using a manual one till I saw this Elmway unit. I occasionally grind beans for myself when I'm in the mood for the specialty or for my friends who visit and only drink more expensive brands and MUST have fresh ground beans. The manual grinder's wonderful but when I need enough for several people (like holidays) it's inconvenient. I use this Elmway grinder in conjunction with the manual one, recruiting guests to chip in with some elbow grease. This unit's pretty quiet and I like that it's rechargeable so I'm not tied to the counter and electrical supply so I can use it outside in warmer months if I like. The internal coarseness adjuster works well once you get the hang of it (poor instructions) and it auto-stops when finished grinding.

Elmway Electric Burr Coffee Grinder, Rechargeable Mini Coffee GrinderThe Elmway rechargeable burr grinder is a great little unit, very solid and tightly put together. This is a very hands-on grinder, in that you have to open it to manually adjust the grind texture/level as well as opening the other side to put in maybe 1/4 cup of beans. It grinds slowly and consistently. As with all grinders, get ready for static electricity, and as I used it new the static was nuts. Just give it a minute and get a dedicated paint brush to clean it out with. Know that you will need to clean up the counter after making your coffee.Good grinder, would be a good gift for personal use.

Wow the grind level! It was able to grind my beans much finer than my regular grinder. It's almost turkish coffee powder fine. The only drawback is that it takes a long time to do a super fine grind so I don't think I can grind right before making my coffee. Takes up very little counter space and the gold accent is a nice tough of sophistication.

I’m the only one in my house drinking coffee so this works perfect for me. I’m impressed with its grinding ability for such a small machine.

Sorry, I really wanted to love this item as an off-grid grinder that is rechargeable with a 'C' USB cable to a solar panel. It has not met expectations at all and if I find out later I was wrong then I will revise this review. The engineering idea is good, but the materials are too cheap, especially the use of plastic. If this were all stainless steel with a glass catcher for the grounds, it would be of far better quality. It should be made to last.It took me 20 minutes to get the plastic top back in place and locked after filling the compartment with coffee beans. The slotting is very sloppy and imprecise. The mechanism and motor are extremely slow. I have never seen any grinder this slow. Even when I grind with my hand coffee grinder, I grind at a faster rpm than this! From a full compartment of beans, it ground only about two spoonfuls worth of ground coffee, then quit. Yes, the ground is fine and acceptable (at the most fine blade setting, which you do by turning the blade itself). The grinder grinds all it wants then stops. I don't know why. It did not finish grinding all the beans that were put into it. Working like this, this is marginally useful to me. If you are in a hurry, forget it.
