Once you figure out how to use it, it works great! Battery powered, easy to store, and use. No sharp edges on cans. Appears to open most any size of can. Certainly recommend for people with limited ability to use manual can openers.

The can opener works well for a normal can with no dents or defects. Both the top and can have smooth edges. If there is a dent or defect near the end, it can struggle both to get around the problem and to cut the can. The other issue I have is that the can opener will not automatically shut off. You have to push the button a second time, and it continues running while it retracts the cutting blade. This can result in problems shutting off the unit. Finally, the magnet is very string and picks up the can lid easily.

Love it! Much better than the older model plug in electric can openers. Easy to use and works better than my old manual opener. Easy to use and has a nice clean cut. The top of the can sticks to the magnet so I don't have to fish out the lid after opening the can.

This can open will not shut off. If you pop the batteries to shut it off, it won't let loose of the lid. After my blood pressure went through the roof, it went in the trash. I won't buy another electric one. I bought it because of the arthritis in my hands.4/27/25 Today, I was contacted by the seller concerning my issue with the can opener I was sold. I was offered a full refund, which I accepted. I don't ever remember having any business/company offer me this courtesy. Thank You, KingGarden.

As a person with rheumatoid arthritis I'm always on the hunt to find gadgets that help me to easier accomplish what some see as simple tasks. Opening a can is very difficult whether it be using a can opener or a standard electric can opener. This wireless automatic can opener makes things so much easier. You just add batteries, then place it on top of the can, push the button and it does the work for you. No struggle to hook a can opener on the hand. No need to hold the can up so it won't drop. It's like a little robot and perfect for anyone to use from a child to a senior. I'm not sure of the battery life, but every kitchen needs this automatic wireless can opener.
