Nice little saw. The battery last about an hour after a full charge but it comes with two. Great for small jobs around the yard.

Well I have discovered the battery is only good for about three minutes of use ,it’s a poor excuse for a corded saw,also have to tighten the chain with every battery swapping!!

For the right job (i.e., smallish), this is fine. Feels just a tad lightweight and maybe a little rickety. I use it with due caution (good idea for any chainsaw).

Be careful Turning the nozzle to tighten the Saw.. the long screw comes off track and can no longer tighten the saw chain

If you are at this page shopping for chainsaws the chances are good you know what they are and probably have owned a gas powered one. The concept of how they work is all the same and this one doesn’t have or lack any features of other small battery operated ones in its class. These are used around my yard for small tree branches, and the gnarly tough vines that are indigenous to my area. Using this is so much more convenient that a gas saw or almost any other kind of saw, it’s a must-have tool in my workshop.What makes this one a little different from its peers is that it uses the same 18v batteries as my Makita power tools, I am a big fan of having interchangeable batteries. But here’s the bonus, by buying this it’s like getting two free batteries and that’s almost as much as this entire kit.YES NO MAYBEWhile there are many similar saws to choose from not all are built exactly alike and a lot of that has to do with the location of the controls and the design of the handles. Of the ones I’ve used over the years this one seems to get it right most of the time. It’s something I can just pick up and use. So I like it.

I was quite excited to get this. It was easy to assemble and I immediately went to attack some trees and shrubbery with it. It handles smaller jobs well, I quite like how the saw felt when working with it. The battery lasted pretty well, I only used one battery for some time and it still had charge in it. Overall I felt for what I needed (smaller type jobs) it is worth the money.
