My initial experience was a little disappointing. The first unit sent, had a charging (and/or possibly battery issue) right out of the box. For that reason, I've deducted 1 star. Thankfully, a replacement was quickly dispatched, and the replacement unit did NOT suffer from the same issues as the initial unit. Initially, the first unit simply would NOT charge... Additionally, when items are produced/sold using batteries, a small charge is usually put in the batteries, to ensure they're not damaged and function as desired. But when the initial unit arrived, not only would the "new upgraded" base not charge the two grinders, but also one of the grinders was already DOA and had no charge whatsoever (while the other one did, as expected.) That said, once the replacement arrived, none of these issues were present with the replacement unit and I couldn't be happier!!One of the things I like most about the two grinders are that they are made from stainless steel, which gives them a strong/sturdy feel in your hand... I also enjoy the fact each grinder has an LED Light, and allows me to adjustable the coarseness of the pepper and salt being ground... Additionally, being rechargeable just makes good sense (as long as it works correctly.)Overall, I'm very pleased with this pepper/salt grinder pair... They look nice, they feel nice, they produce a nice custom grind (based on my preference/settings), so I'm very pleased with this product. I would recommend it to family and friends looking for a nice salt/pepper grinder set...
