Not only is this thing really good looking but it’s very well made and has a beautiful design to it.There is some assembly required. You have to screw on the feet and I couldn’t get even one of them to screw down tight. They’re all a little loose so when you pick it up they kinda wobble but once you sit it down the weight of the warmer holds them in place. This has a non-stick coating so wax build up is impossible. Its functionality is perfect. It does one thing - melt wax and it does it quickly and hassle free. So easy to use.One heads up if you might be as goofy as I am. You do have to put the spigot through the hole in the warmer and lock it down with a seal and a nut. I was able to install mine incredibly quickly and I was so proud of myself I never checked what position the open/closed handle came on.It comes with it open.I got my warmer up and running super quick, through about a pound of wax in there and then went on to tell myself how awesome I am.Pretty soon I started hearing water trickling from something and couldn’t find it.Then after walking through a HUGE puddle of wax on the floor I realized what was going on and turned the handle to the off position. That’s all on me. LOL the product is great and again, really beautiful.

I have been making candles for years, and this wax melter impressed me greatly. It's digital, with easy buttons to show the interior temperature and the temperature that you set it at - so two displays at once. You can easily change the display from Centigrade to Fahrenheit. It melted about 2.5 pounds of paraffin in about 5 minutes. Then I added stearin powder for hardness, and also a large round wax about the size of a large coffee can to melt all together. I then poured from the spout into a smaller container with a pouring spout - I recommend using a smaller container to actually pour the candles rather than trying to put the candle mold under the spout. Put some newspaper on the floor, as the spout will drip a little bit after you turn it off. I was able to pour several candles. Then I added another 2 lbs candle to melt down, and used that wax to pour some figure candles and another large mold. This was super easy to use and pretty professional. One thing I did notice, is that the sides are aluminum and so they heat up as well as the bottom, which is what you want so that the wax melts quickly and heats evenly. Another thing I noticed is that when we turned the temperature down to 120 after pouring, there was still wax in the spout which hardened. We had to wait for the second wax to melt and the heat to reach the spout and then the clog loosened up. So when I turned it off at the end and cleaned it, I raised the end with the spout up a bit so that the wax would run out of the spout and not harden in there. It was easily cleaned by wiping out with paper towels. I also noticed that the wax melts quicker with the cover on, which makes sense. At no time did the wax overheat and this made so much less mess than I usually make when melting wax and pouring for candles. I was able to do it in my kitchen, instead of outside. It is much safer than using a double boiler method because in a double boiler you are always having to monitor the water level and add water if it gets too low and also you have to use a wax thermometer to make sure that the wax isn't too hot to pour. With this melter, I did not have to do any of that, so it was much easier. The wax that I poured was at the temperature I wanted, and so I didn't have to wait as long to demold the candles as they cooled faster. I included the picture of most of the candles I poured.

For my woodworking business I make wood conditioner with beeswax and oil, and up to this point have been using a small crock pot and ladle to melt and pour into my tins, which can get a bit messy. Enter this wax melter, not only does it heat the wax and oil in record time thanks to really good heat transfer and powerful heating element, but the spigot on the front makes it super easy for me to pour directly into my tins.Assembly was pretty straight forward except for one thing, and that's making sure to use the little silicone gasket (which IS in the instructions) between the spigot and the main body when you screw it in. If you don't use the gasket, the spigot will screw in too far and will be facing sideways. I was an idiot and didn't read the manual and just screwed it in without it at first. Once i got the rubber piece in, it would align properly and not leak any wax when heated. The handle on the spigot is nice and sturdy, and has a heat resistant rubber cover, which is needed since the heat DOES transfer to the faucet body itself, which is a good thing, since if you have leftover wax in it, you want it to still melt to prevent clogs. Pouring from the spout was super simple and using a small handled tool i made, i was able to fill the tins in record time. The assembled melter has decent size feet you screw in, which is nice to keep the heat off the surface you have it sitting on, and can accomodate containers of large size, so if you're using large candle jars or tins, it will work great. The display with the temperature on it is easy to read, and the buttons are simple to use. I can't say anything bad about this melter, and it has sped up my production time dramatically!
