This adapter ring does indeed work. However, it does wiggle and move when applying the reflector on the other end. You have to make sure to lock it in please or you’re liable to lose your whole reflector.

Was a bit leery about using an adapter but found this to be very well made and increased my workflow speed by not having to disassemble and reassemble several softboxes when switching between my LED and Elinchrom flash units. One note is that they use a spring steel tension plate to lock in a lug and minimize play… it takes a slight bit more force when locking in the ring and the first time I thought the adapter wasn’t working correctly until I realized the need to overcome the spring tension. So far I highly recommend these and seem made to last

This is well made, sturdy and fits my Elinchrome mounts perfectly.
