This is actually my 2nd magnetic hoopMy first was a bigger size by different brand the whole top hoop was magneticVery hard for me to use it was so strong my hands just hurt with it.So I put off buying another oneI love this hoop it has smaller magnets I can control better!!!!!Will be ordering 2nd one!!!!

Upon arrival, there was a slight flaw in the hoop, which I was able to solve with a slight adjustment with a screwdriver. Then, when actually testing out the hoop, I see that the included template does not fit correctly into the hoop. The template is used to place your design evenly within the hoop, but the template itself is made backwards, and also does not lie so the center point is in the correct position. I can use the template that came with my original Janome plastic hoops, but this item is sold "with" its own template, which is basically useless. I had several online contacts with the seller as I wanted to know if maybe I had received a defective unit. The brand name is Embroidex, but sold by another company name. When I asked that other company how to contact the Embroidex company, I was told that they are Embroidex. So I asked a couple more questions. The person saying they were Embroidex said they had never used the product and could not offer any advice or information about the hoop and its accessory template. Pretty odd that the seller had no information on the product they are selling. So, for $75, I have a pretty nice magnetic hoop and some magnets, but the template, as mentioned, is worthless----and the seller offered absolutely no info.Kathy Strabel

Bei diesem magnetischen Rahmen wird das Stickvlies mit mehreren starken Magnetbuttons auf dem Metallrahmen fixiert. Das funktioniert bestens. Absoluter Vorteil gegenüber dem Magnetrahmen von Dime, der mit EINEM Magnetgegenstück ausgestattet ist.

This is wonderful for "hooping" felt as the magnets are easy to use and there is no hoop burn. Just don't put magnets on the attachment side as they will end up on the underside of the needle holder! LOL. Also, if the felt is wider than the hoop on the attachment side, basting does not work as it catches on the felt sticking up and pulls the felt and a magnet out of alignment. Lesson learned!

This was recommended by my best friend and this hoop is a game changer. I use it all of the time. The very strong magnets keep the stabiliser taut when embroidering. I have had no problems at all. Would recommend it. I have a Janome 550e embroidery only machine and have no problem attaching the hoop to the machine. Check your make and model before ordering.

I love these magnetic hoops. Just be careful you don’t add too many magnetic discs to the hoop. The hoop sticks to the machine and nothing moves. Ask me how I know. I wish I could get all my Janome hoops replaced with these.

Love the idea and the price of this hoop. Why in the world hoops made from plastic are so expensive I do not understand. This is a good way of saving money. The only issue I have with the hoop is that the magnetsare round and you can only used the magnets around three corners of the hoop. The corner where you connect the hoop to the EM is blocked by the adapter and its difficult to stabilize. Great hoop just buy.
