Excellent survival tool. Lightweight, made well, seems to be durable but as it’s light weight, I initially felt it was flimsy. But it’s not flimsy. Everyone should carry one of these either on their person or in their car, especially in areas that have lots of snow or cold weather. You’ll never know if you’ll get stuck somewhere; would be great to have. I have a problem w/cold legs & cold feet, so every night before bed on comes thick socks & long pants. I decided to use the bag at night, & it was the best thing for me. Because it’s so long I got tangled in it, but better to have it long & wide than too short & too small. I slipped into the mat w/just pajamas & pulled it up to my waist. It’s true! my body heat stays with me in the sleeping bag & kept me warm all night. Love it. It’s a very small item to carry, and it came with a good whistle, appreciated that. Great size, can hold big people, little ones may get lost in it 😁. I bought for my sons & spouses, grandsons, & me.

This review is for the Dzronda brand emergency sleeping bag with whistle (6 pack). These are emergency bags not blankets. Imagine these as giant Doritos bags. The bag is 84 inches long, but the bottom has a flat seam, so you can’t use the full length. Also, since the circumference is 72 inches, the bag is a bit less than 23 inches in diameter. That is not a lot of room. I think the product photos are a bit deceiving making the bag look bigger than it is.Using this bag in the woods, it would be difficult to keep it in once piece without tearing on rocks and sticks. Though, obviously better than nothing! For me, I see these bags as ideal for a car emergency kit. Inside the car, you have some shelter. Sitting on the seats, you are insulated from the cold ground. Unless your seats have metal poking through, there isn’t much to tear the bag on. Pull the bag up to your arm pits to keep your core and your legs warm. Augment with an emergency or wool blanket for your upper body. The size and thickness of the emergency bag seem average. Not bad, but not exceptional either. The inclusion of the whistle with each bag is a welcome extra. The whistles worked well in my testing. Each bag comes rolled up into a small nylon bag (see photos). If you pull it out of the bag, it will lie flat for easy packing. The emergency blanket laid flat is about 4” x 6” x 1/2”.I will be adding a couple of these to my car’s emergency kit.

A package of six rescue blankets. These are bright orange rescue blankets in a small package, smaller than one's fist so they can easily fit in a backpack, purse, or the glove box in a car. Good quality and hopefully we will never have to find out how well they work. Very lightweight.
