They work very well and are solidly build. The design is very lightweight and the sound is quite loud, which is exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely recommend.

The whistle appears to be well made and physically attractive for the price. The outside is made of aluminum, but the inside appears to have a plastic fipple (the plug on the inside that directs the air flow). If the whistle is blown softly, a low sounding whistle can be heard. By blowing harder, mainly air comes out and no whistle sound. I thought the whistle was dysfunctional at this point. But when I blew very hard a pretty loud sounding whistle could be heard.If you are looking for a loud sounding whistle that doesn't require a hard blow, then you won't be happy with this product. There are others that work better. But this price point is difficult to beat.I tried all three whistles and all worked the same.

These have plastic shoved down in the holes and you can't get it out, does not make a sound

Quite simply, these whistles work. I have zero doubt that I could attract someone's attention in an emergency situation, assuming there's someone anywhere around. The lanyards seem to be off quality, although I feel like the material might feel itchy, especially in warm and humid weather. I plan to keep one in the driver's door of my car, and one in my emergency kit/go bag. The third will go in a fanny pack or in a cargo pocket of my pants.By the way, if you have cats, and blow one of these in the house, they might not appreciate you, lol

I got these as safety whistles for camping. They will definitely do the trick. I blew as hard as I could and it was not a good idea.. but that's what I needed.Only downside is the rings aren't great. I'll need new rings to make sure they stay on the lanyards.

All of the rings are loose. You'll literally have to go in with pliers to tighten everyone of them. As a result of this, I've already lost one. The whistles work, BUT that's a non-issue if you don't have the whistles to use because they keep falling off the rings.

This 3-pack of emergency whistles really surprised me with how loud they are! Each one comes with a lanyard and keychain ring, making them easy to attach to a bag or wear around the neck. The aluminum alloy build feels solid and reliable—definitely not the cheap plastic kind that breaks easily.The double tube design produces a piercing sound that could easily get someone’s attention from far away. I tested all three (red, green, blue), and they were equally loud and functional. Great for hikes, dog walks, or just peace of mind when you’re out and about.Only thing to note: the lanyards are basic, but they get the job done. For the price, this set is a great value and super handy to keep in your gear.
