Hell of a good pickup on my Ibanez. Had to buy a five way switch for my h-s-h setup, but my guitar sounds amazing now! Just needed the switch and everything was plug and play.

Sounds exactly like a strat should only noiseless, neck pickup nails John Frusciante tones and I highly recommend Macdaddy music they got my order shipped quick and included a 10% off my next order coupon, so kind of them to ship out quickly given these uncertaint times.

Great pickups!!!On distortion/overdrive it's very solid and tight they sound even better on clean settings, which fulfills my requirements.I really recommend it for anyone wanting to have a modern versatile Stratocaster.

EMG products are a joy to install and even better to play, very well designed.I used the SA in a DIY lap steel guitar along with EMG P85 and EMG SPC tone controller, the sounds are outstanding!The humbucker (P85) is fat and lush while this SA sings like a bell, very clear and sweet.In my opinion the SA is a no-brainer pickup, if you choose it, purchase it and install it .... it will be a beautiful thing.

Took a little longer than I expected.. Living in Hawaii is like that with shipping..Sounds great in any gig, alnico magnets are great they have that olskool tone to them.. The reason I got these pickups, is that I needed to get rid of the 60cycle hum.. I use emgs in my fender-Pbass and my Kramer-focus1000... I always liked emg pickups.. Although having to change the battery maybe a little work.. But it's worth it not buzzing like a bad ground on stage or in the studio.. If you are looking for a sending signal while soloing.. Active is the way for sure.. The David Gilmore (pink-Floyd) pro pickguard has the same pickups.. That's kinda why I got them as well.. Highly recommended for the guitar addic..

I put this in my Ibanez S470 and it sounds awesome!!! I put a big block brass tone block in also and the two together sound like an acoustic guitar. I also have an 81 in the bridge and it screams!!!! The 85 in the neck has silky sweet lead tones!!!!There is no better pickup than EMG.
