EMOON Notes
- The hour and minute hands had a protective plastic coating that needs to be carefully removed.
- Be careful not to bend the hands with too much pressure.
- Please do not use Alkaline battery, rechargeable battery, or they will damage the movement.
- Do not tighten the brass hex nut too tight
- Press hard to get all clock hands in place

Fora large clock, the high torque movement is a good idea to drive the large hands. So far it works great. Nice packaging. Nice selection of hands.

At first, it was silent. At first it ran well. But after a day or two, it started randomly clicking (like once every 3-5 seconds). Overnight last night (less than a month after being put into service), it stopped clicking, but started making the kind of continuous low grinding noise I normally associate with friction in older plug-in clocks. This makes me wonder how long the battery, and ultimately the movement itself, will last. Also, it completely stopped running at one point, and I had to pull out the battery and reinstall it to get the movement running again. It was inexpensive enough that when it does die I may try it again (if it actually delivered on its silence promise, it would be a good deal)), but just beware that it may not be as silent or reliable as you might reasonably expect, either.

Received 2 defective units. The second was a replacement of the first. Both had the same problem. Stopped randomly and/or ran slow. 100% new battery and hands were positioned well. The clock did run OK when laid on its back, but hung on the wall, No Good! Junk! Looking for a full refund.

I was about to return this because it would run for about 10 minutes then stop, when first installed. This occurred repeatedly. Suddenly it stopped stopping for no apparent reason, and has been running ever since. Makes no sense. (It was not the battery or contacts that was the problem.)
