I used this for maple syrup in my barrel stove evaporator and it worked WONDERS! The two speed choices was perfect and it lasted at full blast the whole time. It made this year's fire much hotter and easier to manage.

Seems to work good, a little noisy, but that is to be expected. My original blower had a 3 bolt pattern so I had to drill an additional hole in the top center of the mounting plate. The bottom 2 holes were fine.

Not a bad price but I was expecting it to run a lot quieter. It’s loud to the point I turn it on if I’m leaving the house for the day. I have my stove in a sort of basement area on a split level house…and it’s loud enough to be too loud while sitting in the living room

Used it for my wood stove it works great, blows heat around keeping my basement warm.

I got this for a backup. I have not installed it yet, or checked to see how it fits. I have my old blower for a template, so worst case scenario I have to drill a couple of holes. Should be no big deal. Moter was upside down (compared with the photo) when it came. Removed the 2 screws, turned it 180 degrees, put the screws back in. Again, no big deal. Personally I dont think its any noisier than either of the other blowers I had. Blower running on low is about as noisy as my 7 inch house fan is running on high. Blower is a little louder when turned on high, but even then still quieter than my air conditioner is. The bigger difference is the CFM. Its a nice slow steady stream on low, but holy cow does it pump out some ever loving air on high. (Sure wish this was compatible with a speed controller.) Its made of a decent grade sheet metal (not aluminum) and appears to be as heavy duty as the original that came with my wood stove. Its also about 2 to 3 times less expensive than the original one cost. I am pleased with what I recieved. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because I haven't put it to the true test yet, and I had to turn the moter right side up. Other than that, with what iv seen, I would definitely order this again.

Easy to install, but hardware was not included in package. Blower is very loud, even on low setting.
