The Engravable Round Executive Desk Compass in Piano Finish Case measures 3-1/8 inches (7.94 cm) diameter, 1-3/8 inches (3.5 cm) tall, and weighs 5.8 ounces (164 grams) for a compact, sturdy feel. Its hinged lid opens to reveal a 1-3/4 inch (4.45 cm) diameter air-damped compass with a gold-plated brass bezel. A brass plaque on the inside lid can be customized with your text or artwork.

I got this for my grandson's First Holy Communion. It arrived within a few days. The packaging was superb. Very well insulated from moving around.Now for the actual item - I got his name, date, and greeting engraved on it. It was exactly as I specified. The letters were neatly inscribed.My grandson loved it. So did the other family members in attendance when he opened it.I loved giving him a compass to remind him of his newly celebrated faith.I highly recommend this product and vendor. I will be purchasing again in two years when the next grandson makes his First Communion.

This is a beautiful, working compass. The wood finish is gorgeous. I got it for my husband for our anniversary. I had something ingraved inside which made it very personal. My husband loved it!
