Using these for 5+ years, and generally good, but about half of the last batch of bags split at the seams, so I hope they get that glue issue, or whatever it is, sorted out.I do REALLY like the adhesive tab that seals the mouth of the bag so when you throw it away it doesn't exhale dust all over the place.I bought a Shark bagless, which is a fantastic vacuum, but the best way to clean the swirl chamber is to suck it out with my old Panasonic bagged machine, so ordering more of these again and crossing my fingers the seams don't split.

These bags are, "Designed to Fit: Panasonic Upright Types U, U-3 U-6". It certainly works on thePanasonic MC-6855 vacuum cleaner I purchased in 1994. The bags are not over long, like someafter-market bags. Folded (flat), the bags are 15-3/4 inches long and 5-3/4 inches wide. Theunfolded bag fit easily into the canister of my Panasonic upright.With some pressure, and a firm hand, the bag fit tightly over the tube within the machine. Thereis a thin flat rubber gasket that surrounds the inside of the vacuum bag's opening which probablyallows for a better fit on a wide variety of Panasonic machines and helps keep small bits of dustinside the bag where it belongs. The opening of the bag is 1-3/4 inches in diameter. The rubbergasket sits within that opening and has a 1-3/16 inch inside diameter.I still experienced good suction and cleaning power with the new bags after a few uses. Theredoes not appear to be any amounts of dust or debris coming from the vacuum or out of the bag.I can say there is a "Dirt Sensor" on my Panasonic and it appears to be working as expected withthe new bags; so they must be working in tandem and doing well. I love cooperation betweeninanimate objects.I will applaud the "Enviro-Closure" piece, attached near the top of the bag's opening. It is a nicetouch. When you take the bag off the tube and out of the machine you can easily apply the 'closure'to prevent dust and debris from puffing out of the bag as you move it and dispose of it. Take notevacuum bag makers, please.The bags are "Designed and Developed in the USA" and "Manufactured in China". The only ID numberI could discern on the product's outside wrap was a label on the back with the alpha-numeric code:"X00014A93J"; if that is any help.Overall, I would buy these bags again if my machine lasts long enough to need them again. I certainlygot my money's worth out of this Panasonic and it appears I will get my moneys' worth out of thesebags. Nice work EnviroCare Technologies.NOTE: The photo of the bag on the Amazon web page is not the type we are speaking about in thisreview. The image is for a Kenmore canister type vacuum.Addendum June 5, 2013: I noticed today that the photo of the bag has been corrected to the correctphoto of the Panasonic vacuum bags wrapper.
