This thing is awesome. I've never installed a head unit before in my life (I do build computers so perhaps I had a slight advantage in understanding all the cables) but this was easy. I plugged in every cable it came with to the unit inside my house so I could take my time, then just went outside to the car followed a YouTube video on how to remove factory unit, unplugged the 3 connectors on the factory unit, plugged them all into this units 3 wiring harnesses, put the dash back together and everything works. Steering wheel controls, all the speakers, Bluetooth, GPS, Android Auto. (I did not install a back up or dash cam) The only "gripe" is that I can't find an option to not pause my music while reversing because it's trying to show me back up feed that I don't have. But this took under an hour and made my 2013 Mazda3 i sport feel like a new car. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I have a 2012 Mazda and was look for a bit of an upgrade. This device is designed to fit perfectly and the set up was easy.I had a professional shop install the device because I also wanted a backup camera installed. The display is bright and clear and there is virtually no lag with touch screen functions. An excellent value for the money.

This is just what I needed for my 2010 Mazda3. All around for the price, it’s a great deal especially if all you want is CarPlay. It really is plug and play; I had it installed in about 30 min. It’s also nice that this is wireless Apple CarPlay, I’ve seen basically new cars that still require wired connection. It boots up fast and connects fast as well.

Documentation for the radio is pretty bad. For example I needed to contact customer service to learn that you can touch the display to change kmh to mph on the home screen. Not to mention other items buried under non-intuitive menus. That said, it is Android Auto certified so less likely to steal all your information from your phone than those "mirror" radios. Also, the USB ports could be tighter. That said, customer service is excellent. They have responded every time I contacted them.

This is the 3rd Eonon head unit that I have purchased and by far is the most enjoyable one I have had. The radio sounds awesome through my Bose system, the controls are easy to use and all of the install harnesses are included. Maybe, the best feature though is the under-200-dollar price.

Bought this for an earlier 2000 Mazda. The wireless Apple CarPlay is a big perk. It does take a minute or so to connect when initially getting into the car, but other than that no complaints. Perfect way to upgrade an old stereo.

First off, I know what I'm doing with car audio. Been doing it for years, including high end expensive custom systems. So the problem is not on my end.Vehicle: 2012 Mazda 3 with Bose system. Original head unit, Bose amp, and original paper cone 3 ohm door speakers (all four) removed (yes Bose built the system with 3 ohm speakers, can you believe that?). 4 channel Alpine amp, Alpine subwoofer amp, four Infinity Kappa door speakers and new replacement sub speaker installed.Problems: 1) Steering Wheel control: Volume up and own is only function that works. Tried to "learn" using two different provided apps but neither recognize the steering wheel. No way to program it.2) No subwoofer output. Yes there is a single female RCA output lead but it will not provide and signal. I could not find and switch or button to turn sub output on or off. It's just dead.3) FM radio app SUCKS. terrible design and not intuitive to use, at all.4) NO help from either seller or manufacturer. Contacted manufacturer twice via their website, which they ask you do. No response either time and it's been two weeks now. NO HELP.Finally, the instructions, if you want to call them that, are terrible. Chenglish at its worst example. And only a few of the functionality is addressed. You basically have to experiment with the radio for a couple hours to fully understand how it works and even then it's a confusing mess. Terrible user interface design.I've noticed there are many similar radios on Amazon. This is the second I tried, and it failed like the first. I think they are all the same manufacturer and all poor quality. Look for another type of radio.
