This is a nice set of ER32 collet blocks. My ER32 collets fit them perfectly and they are an excellent option for holding round workpieces during milling, filing, or drilling. I don’t have an accurate enough test setup to speak to the absolute concentricity of these blocks, but they certainly work just fine for my needs, especially milling on my mini lathe and work holding on my drill press. These blocks seem well-machined with a smooth surface and threads that accept the collet nuts smoothly. For the price, these are an excellent value!

This set of ER-32 blocks work well and a nicely machined with a good finish. They work well for milling flats at 60, 120 and 90 degrees of rotation or drilling holes. They are large enough to easily clamp in a milling machine vice to hold round parts or stock. They are easy to set up in a vise to square up the fixture to the mill bed.

The collet blocks are nicely made and came boxed, bubble-wrapped and enclosed in individual plastic containers. Each was coated with oil and wrapped in a plastic bag.Another reviewer reported questionable accuracy. I'm not sure how I would go about verifying their accuracy without also including the potential inaccuracies of my collets. If I can come up with a reasonable method, I will return here and update this review. If I were making components requiring high precision, I would not be buying bargain priced tooling. But for my purposes of trying to cut a hex or flats on opposite sides of a workpiece or perhaps drilling and tapping a couple holes at right angles, they are of excellent quality.YMMV, but I would buy them again.

Checked that clamped collet is centered in both square and hex block. Neither is. Checked using gauge pins of two sizes, on a surface plate with a height gauge as shown in pic. I marked the sides of the blocks to maintain awareness of its orientation, and re-clocked the collet and gauge pin to see if the error followed the orientation of the block, the collet, or the pin. It follows the block. One side of the square block is off 0.0045".If we round that to 0.005", that is 10x the claimed error. Ten times! The hex block is slightly better, but not acceptable to me, 0.0035" is still not OK...7x. I stopped there, did not check parallelism. They are kind of odd sizes, the hex just under 41mm, the square just under 46mm, not any standard inch size, which I would be fine with...but not the five thousandths off center. They look very nice, I'm disappointed that I will be sending them back. But back they go!
