La sella originale della mia bici la trovavo scomoda e a fine giro mi faceva sempre male il sedere, così ho iniziato a provare varie selle, principalmente di due marchi SMP e Selle Italia, però con queste selle ogni volta non ero soddisfatto al 100%, a fine giro avevo sempre male al sedere e sentivo la sella dura.Finalmente con questa sella ho trovato pace e ho smesso di cercare altre selle.L'unica sella tra quelle che ho provato che si avvicinava a questa per comodità è stata la Selle Italia Novus Boost, ma essendo per XC non ha retto alla sollecitazione della mie uscite Enduro e quindi si è rotta, tuttavia questa Ergon è un pelino più comoda ed essendo appositamente realizzata per l'enduro è anche più robusta.

Deceptive advertising. The seat does not have oil slick rails. It has black rails with an oil slick sticker on the packaging.

Ho aspettato qualche giorno e qualche uscita in Mtb prima di recensire questa sella,pratico Enduro in Mtb da qualche anno,ho provato varie selle di vari marchi,con questa ho trovato subito la praticità e la comodità giusta...è un ottimo prodotto di qualità,e se si strizza anche l'occhio all'estetica è anche bella da vedere.

I know there’s a lot of personal preference in saddles and I was really trying to like it, but it just wasn’t for me. The edges are slick but the top is pretty tacky for my shorts so adjusting my riding position while climbing ended up tugging or bunching my shorts around. Also felt it was a bit too firm for me. I did like the middle trench in the saddle though and it does seem quite durable.

If your butt hurts on a curved saddle and you haven't tried a flat saddle, this is one to try. Took me a few years to find out that my saddle discomfort was due to riding narrow curved saddles. I use the Ergon SM Enduro Comp (s/m) on my road bike, what a relief! Check your sit bone measurement to get the correct width. If you want a softer ride, purchase the base model (SM Enduro) not the Comp or Pro versions. I have experience riding the base model and will say that the padding is softer than the SM Comp. I chose the SM Comp because it is a bit firmer but still comfortable.

I love the oilslick rails on this saddle since it matches my bike accessories. The saddle feels great for mountain biking even on long rides. I have not tried one for my road bikes.

Pictures speak for themselves, very nice solid built and comfortable. Size wise very close to stock WTB via Santa Cruz. Lastly, oil slick looks awesome!!!

Saddle that my bike came with was unacceptable. After measuring my sit bones, I was in between a small-medium and medium-large. I went with the small-medium. Fits perfectly. I do not ride with bibs and I can sit on this all day. The material is slippery enough where I do not stick to it wich helps with saddle soreness. Nothing for my pants or shorts to get caught up on and the oil slick rails are AWESOME! I will purchase another one when this one is worn out in the future.
