You know, it's not as practical as I'd hoped. Turns out my string trimmer shaft diameter was smaller than this kit was made for. I had some leftover rubber laying in my shop, and it filled the space when I used the supplied metal rings. I have to keep a 300 yard bank along the road cut. Too steep for anything but a string trimmer. Been doing it for 45 years. This handle looked like a back saver. I put it on and it makes using the string trimmer easier to use, except when it's not so easy. The elevation changes on the bank where I stand on the top while lowering the string downward make it odd to hold as I move up the bank, where it's then too close to me and I have it up to my chest. I used it a couple of times now and overall, I'd say it's a little bit more ergonomic than the standard handle. It feels like a quality made handle. Not flimsy.

Well I haven't used them yet. I put them on my weed eater. But the rubber spacer bushing needs to be thicker. I cannot tighten it enough to be stationary it just spins around the shaft. I'll probably just wrap another piece of rubber around it or some tape and fill in the gap. But other than that I think they're going to work just fine..

This item replaced the original handle on my weed eater. This handle makes the weed eater more balanced and easier on my back. Installation was was quick and easy. Great product and excellent price. If you have a large yard I highly suggest purchasing.

The handle works fine, except the handle will turn while using one of the rubber “sleeves.”I used a piece of emory cloth between the rubber and the shaft. The handle held firmly then.
