Quality wick. Other than it is organic and hemp, I do like the thickness on it. But to be fair I can’t compare to those thinner types because I haven’t really tried them yet. I would imagine they work too. I would maybe say its not as flimsy. Between the thickness & all the wax on it, it holds its shape sorta good when you bend it.

I liked that these wicks are natural and are fairly easy to use off the spool. How we even the 2.0 “thick wick” doesn’t burn hot enough to melt all of the wax in my standard 8oz candles. It’s boring a hole and this is deer tallow with some beeswax in it. These candles melting points should be low enough that the thicker wicks should actually be a little much. I have no faith for my wide mouth pints and quarts after burning this one.

I’ve gotten a few spoils of the regular gauge ericx hemp wick and it’s always been my favorite. Didn’t even know they had a thick gauge, and this stuff is definitely worth it. Evenly coated with wax, and tastes clean and natural. With the thicker gauge and the really slow burn, this is going to last me quite a while!

I went ahead with this because it was cheaper than the ever fluctuating price of (Which I found out you can buy direct from Bee Line for much less) Well you get what you pay for. It clearly says made in china and has an old stale odor to it. Also there is very minimal beeswax on the hemp wick itself. Oh well you live and learn. I'll be going back to Bee Line brand for sure!Update 9/26/17: I gave it one more star as I really think you get way more than 200ft (can't confirm though). This stuff lasted a lot longer than expected.
