Slinky gauge combinations were pioneered by our founder Ernie Ball over 60 years ago, helping shape the sound of rock n roll. Nickel Wound Slinky strings consist of nickel-plated steel wrapped around a tin-plated high-carbon steel core for a balanced tone that complements all guitar types and playing styles.
Plain Strings
All plain strings feature a series of lock twists to secure the wire around the ball-end, enhancing stability and strength.
