When I took it out of the box, I discovered many purple marks in various locations apparently made with a marker. Suspect someone else returned this item. It is Robert Shaw brand made in Mexico. It dispensed water when the lever was pushed，but it continued dripping when it was not pushed...a drop every few minutes. I am returning and requesting a replacement. I hope the replacement item is new, unused, and actually works as it is supposed to.

It functions effectively, fits appropriately, and was considerably more affordable than an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) component. The only noticeable difference with this replacement is a slight delay between pressing the trigger and the water dispensing from the door. This delay was not present before the replacement. Nevertheless, it is a minor inconvenience considering the cost savings and functionality of the replacement part.

The solenoid valve assembly was easy to install. The electrical connections are push on connectors and the tubing connections are the shark bite type. At first the solenoids were a little bit noisy (buzzing) but got quieter after a day or so.
